Security

Being a managed precinct we will be installing state of the art security throughout the development. This is envisioned as both a building by building, as well as a precinct wide approach.

A centralised security centre will monitor the precinct through a state of the art CCTV system, as well as controlling and monitoring of precinct wide patrolling. This is viewed as an "active" and "passive" approach to precinct security - which is needed to ensure an all encompassing security solution.

Each individual building has been designed to accommodate full access control and CCTV requirements of their tenants. Building monitoring systems will be installed throughout the Menlyn Maine development and linked to the central monitoring centre, which will allow response times to be drastically cut down, as well as decreasing the likelihood of dangers such as fire moving to other areas of the precinct.

All of these reassurances will be integrated into a seamless and inconspicuous lifestyle that will give tenants and visitors the comfort to enjoy the precinct without constantly looking over their shoulders whilst allowing their children to explore their surrounds without worry.

Management

Menlyn Maine is a privately managed precinct and has partnered with Kagiso Urban Management, who are also responsible for the management of the Jo’burg, Sandton & Illovo CBD’s, to manage our precinct. The Menlyn Maine Property Owner’s Association has been formed to ensure proper participation of all building owners in this management body. MMPOA is a section 21 company.

MMPOA’s responsibility is to ensure:

Services are in place and well manages, these include: security, refuse removal, landscaping, maintenance and interaction with local council
